The original Hulk and Buffy are coming to the Fan Expo Vancouver. What more do you want?

Hellboy’s Ron Perlman (right) is coming to Fan Expo Vancouver. But don’t ask him about Hellboy.

Each year, Halloween comes a little early for Vancouver geeks and freaks. Fan Expo Vancouver (Oct. 12-14 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada Place) is a three-day wonderland of comics, animation, sci-fi, horror, gaming and more.

This year, featured guests include the original Hulk, the original Buffy, and the new Aquaman. See below for more.

You may know special guest Jason Momoa better as Aquaman in Justice League. Ron Perlman, aka Hellboy, is also coming to town. Pro tip: don’t ask about the new Hellboy reboot (2019 release date)—he’s not in it, and original director Guillermo del Toro is likewise not involved. Ask instead about his upcoming movie Monster Hunter, which also stars Milla Jovovich.

Battlestar Galactica fans will be lining up to meet Katee Sackhoff, and Stargate fans can say “hi” to Joe Flanigan (Stargate: Atlantic) and Alaina Huffman (Stargate Universe). Devoted Buffy fans will want to meet Kristy Swanson, the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Lou Ferrigno, of the ’70s TV series The Incredible Hulk, and Pom Klementieff, Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy, are also coming. Star Trek: The Next Generation fans will want to meet actor Wil Wheaton.

Other guests include luminaries from the worlds of anime and animation, cosplay, gaming, and comics. Some notable figures from the latter (since, after all, comic conventions are the original inspiration for mega-cons like Fan Expo) include long-time Marvel Comics artist Bob McLeod, Seattle cartoonist Peter Bagge, and French cover artist Stéphane Roux. Vancouver talent includes Ian Boothby (Simpsons Comics and Stories), Camilla d’Errico, Pia Guerra (Y, the Last Man) and more.

Get out your credit cards, because Fan Expo also sells exclusive merchandise. Limited-edition, collectible swag items include comic books (Fantastic Four #1, with a variant cover!), FanExpo T-shirts, a Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary Figure, and a Star Wars lunchbox.

Other attractions include celebrity photo ops, Star Wars events from fan organization the 501st Legion, improv by Fictionals Comedy Co., panels and Q-and-As, he Cosplay Photo Park (with various themed backdrops), and Geek Speed Dating.

What, no Big Bang Theory trivia?
