The Aurora Winter Festival, a North Pole-inspired event, launches this Holiday Season!

The Aurora Winter Festival, a family-friendly event inspired by the North Pole, will launch this November at Vancouver’s Concord Pacific Place. Renderings of this large-scale holiday experience have been released this morning and feature elements that make up a magical winter wonderland!

Guests will meet and interact with mystical characters, watch captivating light displays, experience ice-skating on a frozen river, meet Santa and his ice elves at Santa’s workshop, enjoy carnival rides, and much more! The outdoor festival will run from Friday, November 23rd, through to Sunday, December 30th, 2018.

Watch the video below to get a glimpse of the Aurora Winter Festival:

For six weeks, Concord Pacific Place will transform into four Mystical Worlds, each featuring giant sculptures, animated sets, and brilliant light displays. You’ll come across magical characters including ice elves, the snow queen, a yeti, and of course, Santa.

The festival will also feature a light dome showcasing the Aurora Borealis, a tube park, a frozen river with light installations, a 60-ft ferris wheel, an entertainment tent with live music, a variety of food trucks, and a market with 50 holiday-inspired vendors.

And for those seeking further adventure, you can join the Mystical Worlds Quest. The Quest,  an interactive app, will lead guests across the four worlds in search of key icons that will help keep the Mystical Worlds energized and beautiful.

General admission ticket sales start on Friday, October 5th at 10am at $14.99 for children and seniors and $19.99 for adults. To purchase tickets or for additional information, please visit: www.aurorawinterfestival.com.
