Live music on three stages and entertainment for all ages set against Vancouver’s skyline.
The musical line-up and attractions for this year’s Shipyards Festival have been announced! Located on The Shipyard District waterfront with stunning Vancouver views, the Shipyards Festival will take place on Saturday September 28th from noon to 10pm, and feature three stages.
Kater Main Stage
Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, John Welsh & Los Valientes, Kutapira, Sleepy Gonzales, HOFFEY, North Shore Celtic Ensemble, Uno Mas, Sky Parallel, HAVYN
Shipbuilders Square Stage
The Boom Booms, Mike Edel, Redwoods, MNGWA, Cherrie Laurel, Sister Says, Adam Woodall, Adam Thomas
Seaspan Family Stage
Rockin’ Robin and the Magical Tree, Ginalina, Mike Battie
Kids will be well entertained in the Seaspan Family Zone with Rockin’ Robin and the Magical Tree, Ginalina and Mike Battie along with face-painting, balloon arts and crafts. This year’s event features an expanded beer garden, artisans and vendors in the newly minted Shipyard Commons, as well as DJ’s, buskers, food trucks, acoustic entertainers and more.
The Shipyards District is booming with a new alfresco dining culture and festival guests will find no shortage options to grab a cold refreshing drink and some delicious eats from area restaurants, cafes and pubs.
Parking will be limited so biking, walking or transit is encouraged, and a bike valet service will be available at Cates Dock. Road Closure: Wallace Mew’s & Victory ship Way will be closed to the public during event hours. Alternate routes should be planned during this time.
