La Casa Gelato

Deciding what flavour to choose is the hardest part of any visit to La Casa Gelato because they have 588 flavours in rotation and growing. It’s like Disneyland for gelato lovers. With 238 flavours available at any given time, they are the only shop in the world with so much variety. Their abundance of flavour has even made them a world record holder! Try quirky flavours like gorgonzola cheese, garlic or balsamic vinegar. f these adventurous flavours aren’t tickling your taste buds, there are always the classics to choose from.

The Praguery

A dessert shop with the most decadent soft-serve cones in Vancouver, located just 3 min from the famous Gastown Steam Clock. The freshly baked chimney cakes or trdelnik (as they are in called Czech) offer a traditional European taste. The dough is made fresh on-site every day, handcrafted and using only natural ingredients. All toppings and filling (there’s a bunch to choose from!) are also made in house. There are also 9 flavours of ice cream available in 12oz take-home tubs.

Bella Gelateria

For award-winning, authentic hand-made Italian gelato, head to Bella Gelateria. You’ll find decadent flavours; Akbar Mashti (saffron & rosewater), Earl Grey and Amarena Cherry, classics; Chocolate Chip and Vanilla, and seasonal flavours. They’ll be serving Strawberry Gelato, made with local strawberries from Krause Farms, from now through August.

Uno Gelato

Uno Gelato handcrafts Italian style gelato and sorbetto from fresh, local ingredients, daily. With 28 gelatos, including Roasted Hazelnut, Fior di Latte and Bailey’s Irish Coffee, and 11 vegan sorbettos, that include Midnight Chocolate and Blood Orange, there’s plenty to choose from.
