Hot Chocolate Vancouver Returns for 2021 with 87 Delicious Flavours

Winter is the season of cozy, and what is cozier than a hot chocolate?

Until February 5, 2021, in line with the public health order issued on November 20, non-essential travel into and out of BC is not recommended. BC residents let’s do our part by continuing to stay local and support local, with your immediate household or bubble, in accordance with the latest guidelines

When Hot Chocolate Vancouver launched in 2011, it was the first city-wide initiative of its kind in the world.  This January it returns for its 11th year, bigger and better than ever, with Vancouver’s best chocolatiers, pastry shops, bakeries, cafes, gelato and ice cream makers coming together to make the humble hot chocolate hotter than it has ever been before. In the damp and gloomy days of our Westcoast winter, you’ll find the festival motto to be true: “Hot Chocolate Makes You Happy!”

After 2020, Vancouver’s local eateries need our support more than ever, and perhaps you need a little candlelight in the darkness too. For a small amount money, you can purchase a little bit of cheer to brighten the gloomiest time of year, while at the same time help local cafes in their efforts to stay independent and financially secure.

For 2021, the festival welcomes 39 vendors and a massive 87 delicious flavours to try between the festival dates, January 16 – February 14. Here’s a taste of our favourite spots and what they have on offer for 2021.
