Vancouver’s most fun half marathon is coming back for 2020! The 2020 LuluLemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon has just begun its registration process. If you need some extra motivation to stay in shape this spring/summer (and you want a pair of your own exclusive SeaWheeze training shorts), then we’ve got the dates you need to know!
If you’ve never heard of the SeaWheeze run before, it’s one of the most beautiful and ridiculously entertaining half marathons in the world. On August 15, 2020, over 10,000 runners descend on Vancouver to sweat it out over a weekend of yoga, running, and of course, one heck of an after-party!
Registration for the SeaWheeze half marathon is so popular that they now have created a more accessible and fair way for people to join.

SeaWheeze 101
The 2020 SeaWheeze Half Marathon will be taking place on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in Vancouver.
The run is 21.1km (13.1 miles) around Downtown Vancouver and on the Stanley Park Seawall, offering breathtaking scenery, salty ocean air, giant smiles, and some awesome entertainment along the route.
Entry into the run is $188.00 (CAD) and includes: a spot in the half marathon, entry into the Sunset Festival, yoga sessions, special edition SeaWheeze runner shorts, a healthy post-race brunch, and a whole lot of fun!
Registration for the 2020 SeaWheeze Half Marathon
For 2020, registration will be done through a single participant non-guaranteed draw and a group non-guaranteed draw.
Registration opens today (January 22, 2020) and is open until January 28 for the group random non-guaranteed draw. If you don’t get selected, you can also join the single random draw on February 12, 2020 until February 18th.
No payment or purchase is required to participate in the draw. You will only have to pay after your name or your group is selected to participate.

SeaWheeze Sunset Festival
Don’t want to run? No worries! You can also join in on the fun at the massive SeaWheeze Sunset Festival. The big after-run party is open to everyone and features performances by local bands and big-name DJs.
There is also a beautiful sunset yoga practice, followed by an epic dance party and a beer (or two).
