It’s close to midnight, and something evil’s lurking… in Vancouver! This Saturday, October 29, zombies and Michael Jackson lovers alike will be joining together for an epic performance of Thriller for the largest synchronized dance in the world!

Thrill Vancouver (or #ThrillVancouver) is a world-wide phenomenon that takes place on the same day in locations such as England, China, Australia, Italy, Japan , America, and Canada! It’s a great opportunity to connect with the global community while dressing up like a zombie and dancing… Best of all, anyone can join the fun!

If you want to join the dance… people of all ages are invited to participate in Thrill the World Vancouver on October 29. The more the merrier (and scarier)! You are asked to learn the Thriller dance to participate and there are rehearsals being held on October 26 and 28 in the evening. Alternatively, you can just watch a tutorial video and learn the moves in the comfort of your own bedroom, but where’s the fun in that?

On the day of the dance (October 29), you’re invited to register from noon – 2:30pm at the Creekside Community Centre Room MP4. There’s a donation requested that will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Foodbank. You can also get gussied up with some zombie makeup done by professionals from Blanche MacDonald! The dance will begin exactly at 3pm sharp at the Olympic Village Square.

Bonus: your zombie makeup should last for the rest of the night, perfect if you’re going to a Halloween party after!

If you just want to watch the dance… the dance will be happening at the Olympic Village Square by the giant bird sculptures and near the Telus World of Science. The dance will officially begin at 3pm sharp.
