Movement for a Cause (Jan 5)

Movement for a Cause in support of Dress for Success Vancouver returns on Sunday, January 5 at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in Yaletown. Presented by the Victoria Yoga Conference (www.victoriayogaconference.com), Movement for a Cause will feature a 90-minute Bellyfit class led by certified instructors. Steveston Icebreaker 8k (Jan 19)

Starting at Imperial Landing in Steveston, the course is a quick out-and-back route along the South Dyke Road, perfect for achieving a personal best time! A big draw for this event is the post-race party at the Steveston Community Center, featuring a wide spread of food, an award ceremony, draw prizes, a kids zone, and a run expo. Poses & Pups (Jan 26)

Start your morning with the best self-care Sunday possible: dog yoga with your pup! The class will start with 35 minutes of yoga with your dog, followed by a canine cool down with mingling, snacks and sips—meet other owners and make some new pup friends! Vancouver Chilly Chase (Jan 26)

Start your new year out by making the Vancouver Chilly Chase your first athletic goal race of the season! The 5k, 10k, 15k and Half routes take walkers and runners along an out and back course along the Seawall. This is a quick, flat course with a gorgeous winter views of Vancouver!
