Get your step on for a good cause and some post-race hot cocoa at the Hot Chocolate Run.

The Hot Chocolate Run (March 2)

Supporting the BC Centre for Ability, the Hot Chocolate Run is a great 10, 5, or just for fun-k race along the stunning Stanley Park Seawall. Walkers, joggers and runners of all skill levels are welcome, and every participant gets to enjoy a post-race hot chocolate and is covered by participant insurance. Steamworks Yoga on Tap (March 3)

Love craft beer? Love yoga? Steamworks Brewing is bringing back their Yoga on Tap event at their Brewery and Taproom location. Just a 20-30 min transit ride away from Commercial Drive, you can enjoy an all-levels yoga practice led by a local yoga studio at Modo Yoga Burnaby. The Secret 3k (March 6)

The Secret 3k is an event held across the country in solidarity with the Secret Marathon held in Afghanistan. It’s organized in partnership with the Running Room, Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan, and The Secret Marathon documentary film. Held on the week of International Women’s Day, this race celebrates our right to be free to run. Men and women are invited to come together to walk or run free of fear in their community. The Curry Cup (March 11)

A good curry-based dish is a fantastic way to warm up a cold day. On March 11, seven of Vancouver’s top chefs and 3 culinary schools instructor lead students teams will compete in the 6th annual Curry Cup and you get to taste all of their creations! BMO St. Patrick’s Day 5k (March 17)

Register for the annual BMO St. Patrick’s Day 5k and put a little Irish in your step. BCPMA Healthy Chef Competition (March 20)

The BCPMA and BCCA are once again holding their highly popular and anticipated gala event, the Healthy Chef Competition. Healthy Family Expo (March 24)

Canada’s largest food & health event for families is back celebrating its 6th birthday at the Vancouver Convention Centre.  This isn’t your typical tradeshow — it’s a high energy full-day celebration of all things “healthy families”. This will include 200+ exhibitors with healthy, active, eco-friendly products & services, many healthy food and drink samples, and active zone for kids, as well as a children’s entertainment stage. Vancouver Urban Grind (Weekly in March)

Starting March 4th, get your step (633 to be exact!) on at the Vancouver Lookout‘s weekly Urban Grind event.
